Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Camille Richie
Dr. Richie was born and raised on Marco Island, Florida. She graduated veterinary school in 2020 from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Shortly after, she became certified in aquatic veterinary medicine (CertAqV) through the World Association of Aquatic Veterinary Medicine (WAVMA). Dr. Richie then became interested in integrative medicine and became certified in canine rehabilitation (CCRV) and veterinary acupuncture (CVA) at the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida. Before moving back to Naples, Florida, she worked at a veterinary referral center in Jacksonville, Florida as the lead rehabilitation specialist seeing all kinds of cases from paralyzed dogs and making them walk again, to postoperative orthopedic cases, and osteoarthritis! She is looking forward to bringing this kind of medicine to Animal Life!
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Richie is an avid audiofile; her love of music (listening AND playing) spans all genres but particularly metal, reggae, and symphony. She also practices muay thai. She enjoys going to concerts with her partner, Dr. Chris (another veterinarian at Animal Life!), as well as traveling around the world to immerse in all different types of cultures. They share Calusa, a german shepherd, Parmesan, a pomeranian, and Darwin a manx as their furry companions.
