Nicky is from Massachusetts, born and raised. Her path towards her love for animals started when she attended a hands-on Agricultural High School and graduated with a diploma focused on Animal Science. During this time there were many types of animals handled and cared for. She had also gone through a veterinary technician assistant program where she assisted the DVMs with surgical procedures and handling.  Nicky started working in a veterinary ER as a front-end supervisor in 2007.  Next, she found herself in a general practice veterinary office as a client service representative/technician assistant. After 12 years with the practice, it was time to move to a warmer client. In 2022, Nicky fulfilled a lifelong dream and moved to Florida with her mom, two adult sons and four cats. March of 2024, she found herself here at AVC and hasn't looked back.  Nicky enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with her fur babies.
