Kennedy Calloway

Kennedy Calloway

Animalife gladly welcomed Kennedy to our team in the fall of 2021. Kennedy brings a ton of knowledge to our team. She recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with a minor in Forestry. During school and prior to graduation, Kennedy spent several years working with wildlife and studying animal behavior. She worked and volunteered in several wildlife rehabilitation centers. After graduating with her degree, Kennedy moved to Southwest Florida for the opportunity to work with primates in Immokalee, Florida. Her love for animals, their husbandry, and their behavior, peeked her interests and led her to pursue a more definitive role in their health and wellbeing. Her dream is to work in exotic veterinary medicine. Kennedy hopes to continue her education and training in the animal field and obtain her Master's degree. When not working or observing animals, She enjoys painting, reading, fishing, and vegging in her hammock or on the beach. Kennedy has a cat named, Theo and a ball python named Monty.
